Lasqueti Island Local Trust Area is located 20km north of French Creek, BC, has a 2016 census population of 399 and covers an area of 6,645 ha. The 7358 ha area includes over 20 other islands, such as Jedediah, Jenkins, and Sangster. The Lasqueti Island Local Trust Area is home to some of the rarest ecosystems in the world.
