A re-submission of a previous rezoning application (NP-RZ-2013.1), the application is for rezoning for a broader range of uses for the Industrial 2(c) – I2(c) Zone to include: the transfer, storage, and shipping of discarded goods and materials (excluding the storage of dangerous or hazardous materials); the storage, handling and wholesale of aggregates, soils and mulch (for handling would be defined as blending but does not include screening, sorting, crushing or washing); storage and wholesale of landscaping materials; and, storage and maintenance of heavy equipment and trucks as an accessory use.

A rezoning application for a bylaw amendment.

Mainroad - 3323 Port Washington Rd. * Application in abeyance. *
An application to rezone portions of two properties from Rural (R) to Industrial 2 (a) to correspond to the current area of industrial use and the designations of the OCP.

CRD - Danny Martin Ball Park - 4710 Buccaneers Rd.
An application to rezone one of North Pender Island’s Community Parks (as yet undetermined) to allow the development of a Lawn Bowling facility.  Additionally, this application will permit the construction of two (2) small shelters for the disc park to replace the shelter removed in the spring for structural safety reasons.  The shelters are currently the subject of a Temporary Use Permit (NP-TUP-2018.8) application to allow the construction to happen in the interim.

Grimmer - 4415 Bedwell Harbour Road 

The Temporary Use Permit (TUP) application is for a concrete batch plant and associated industrial uses on a .75 ha (1.9 ac. – approx.) portion of the subject property.  The TUP would bring the subject property into compliance with the North Pender Island Land Use Bylaw 103, 1996.
