The Islands Trust has new office space at the Driftwood Centre, co-located with the Capital Regional District. Planners will be holding scheduled office hours twice a month. Contact staff to book an appointment. Drop ins are welcome!
September 19, 2017 | LTC Meeting Highlights
The LTC reviewed application SP-DP-2017.1 (Poets Cove) and resolved to refer the application back to planning staff to continue to work with the applicant to make improvements to the proposed layout and landscaping. The LTC also reviewed its Work Program, and decided to proceed with a new project to consider heritage conservation options. Staff will prepare an initial report for the next LTC meeting in November.

The South Pender Island Local Trust Committee (LTC) will be holding a Community Information Meeting on the proposed Land Use Bylaw (LUB) at 1 PM on April 1st at Poet’s Cove Resort & Spa. January 16, 2017 | LTC Meeting Highlights
The South Pender LTC reviewed the draft Land Use Bylaw, gave first reading to the LUB and to the consequential OCP amendments, and directed staff to schedule a community information meeting for early April and a Public Hearing for May. The LTC also revised its Work Program to include First Nations Reconciliation as a priority project.
