Looking After Our Land

  • Sensitive Ecosystems
  • Take The Pledge to Go Pesticide Free!

It's time to reduce or eliminate the use of pesticides in our yards, says the Pesticide Use Reduction Education working group (PURE), a sub-committee of the Roundtable on the Environment . PURE is encouraging all residents of the Capital Region to Take the Pledge to go pesticide free on their lawns. Making the switch away from pesticides is easy, starting with five simple steps for a naturally healthly lawn. Make a pledge to go pesticide-free on your lawn and garden, and receive a free lawn sign.
